Broker News: Insurance Emporium Wins Best Insurer Award

York-based insurance company The Insurance Emporium was crowned ‘Best Insurer’ at the prestigious Yorkshire Financial Awards 2019 recently.

These awards celebrated Yorkshire-based companies who had excelled in the financial services sector.  Commenting on the winner in the ‘Best Insurer’ category, judge Mrs Susan Halliday of STEP Yorkshire said:

“In this category, the judges were looking for an innovative use of technology, diverse broker networks and excellence in claims processing.  Our winner in this category is The Insurance Emporium.”

A team from The Insurance Emporium attended the glittering awards evening at New Dock Hall in Leeds to receive their award.  Over 400 business people from around 50 Yorkshire-based companies in the financial sector were in attendance, and it was a fantastic opportunity to network with the brightest and best in Yorkshire’s financial services sector.

The Insurance Emporium’s Chief Executive Officer, Francis Martin, said:

“It is a great privilege and an honour to be recognised as ‘Best Insurer’ by the Yorkshire Financial Awards judges.  Delivering excellence has always been core to our business philosophy and we have done so through a number of measures including ongoing innovation, user-friendly products and the building of a fantastic team.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and this is reflected in our strong customer satisfaction reviews.  We enjoy ratings of over 4.5 out of 5 on Feefo’s Customer Service Review platform, 9.1 out of 10 on Trustpilot and we have a 5-star rating on Defaqto.

We are never complacent however, receiving this prestigious accolade is not only great news but will motivate us to reach even higher.”
