ACORD Adds New Board Members

ACORD, the global standards-setting body for the insurance industry, today announced the addition of Simon Asplen-Taylor, Chief Data Officer at Lloyd’s, and Matt Unsworth, Chief Operating Officer at Aon, to the ACORD London Advisory Board (LAB).

The LAB, which meets in London on a regular basis, is comprised of senior representatives from the major London Market associations and the broker and carrier community. Formed earlier in 2020, the group’s goals are to align London Market initiatives with the global ACORD Data Standards, to increase adoption and leverage of ACORD assets, and to strengthen the impact and relevance of ACORD to its members’ interests.
