Today, climate campaigners from across the world are targeting insurance giants AIG, Lloyd’s of London and Tokio Marine.
Mobile billboard trucks will target the three insurer’s offices in New York City and London, while campaigners gather outside of the Tokio Marine offices in Tokyo and Seoul. At the same time, climate activists are stating that there is no justification for insurance companies to
support fossil fuel expansion. So expect more protests, graffiti, perhaps some vandalism at offices throughout the summer.
As IE magazine has noted, climate activists and the green lobby will never be happy until meat, fossil fuel, cheap holidays, land ownership and much more is all banned. The best plan is to maintain `empty shell’ type HQs in capital cities, but relocate your actual workforce well away from these hotsports, in order to carry on working – and protect your staff from verbal attacks and abuse.
