Atec Group has partnered with MoneySuperMarket to offer their industry leading direct-to-consumer boat insurance comparison service through its consumer brand InsureMy.
InsureMy has put together a panel of specialist marine insurers to provide cover for a wide range of boats from sailing yachts, narrowboats and motor cruisers through to jet skis, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, windsurfs and surfboards. All policies taken out through InsureMy via MoneySuperMarket include third-party liability claims, but the specific level of cover will depend on the particular policy chosen. Examples of risks that can be covered include fire, theft, accidental damage, malicious damage, personal accident and incidents that occur while in transit.
It is also possible to cover for lifting/hauling out of the water and launches, cover for personal belongings, night-time sailing and cruising, and cover for keeping the craft at a different address or taking it abroad. InsureMy also offers cover options for those living on their boat full time.
