The good news is they vary in styles and size so some of the cars may suit a single person or couple, whereas others will be ideal for a family who need more space.

Quite surprising to see the Mazda MX5 sports car at the top, but this firm favourite with older drivers generally doesn’t attract boy racers. It’s also a very popular choice with older ladies who like the MX5’s punch power delivery, easy handling and sharp looks.
The VW California camper is another surprisingly cheap to insure vehicle, especially given its high 40K price tag and obvious attraction to thieves. Again, a popular choice for retirees keen to spend the kids inheritance on Pinot Grigio sunsets and ukelele sessions at the Brittany campsite, while the campervan is under layers of protective car covers.
Interestig to see so many Skoda models in the top ten. What is it about Skoda drivers that makes them a safer insurance risk? Perhaps it’s that keen eye for long term value and excellent mpg? More research is needed obviously.
