IAEA Magazine Will Cover Evolving UK Bodyshop Scene

Need to keep tabs on the bodyshop repair market in the UK? The refreshed version of The Assessor could be very useful.

The magazine of the IAEA, The Assessor, has been fully refreshed to bring IAEA Members and the wider market a revised, and more relevant industry read. The first issue due to be published at the end of May, with a Summer edition at the end of August, and an Autumn / Winter magazine mailed out to readers at the end of November.

From 2025 onwards there will be four issues of The Assessors Journal (February | May | August | November) packed with technical data and industry specific news and commentary,  allowing the readership to connect with the IAEA in new ways.

EXPERIENCED WRITERS

The multiskilled publishing team at ABP Club have taken charge of the new magazine, with experienced trade journalist and editor, Kelly Dalwood, taking the role of Editor at The Assessors Journal. Kelly is ABP Club’s News Editor and is former Editor of Bodyshop Magazine. ABP Club’s quarterly magazine, Auto Body Professional, is the leading title in the accident repair sector with more than 4,500 copies distributed to the leading decision makers in the body repair market.

The Assessors Journal will include a range of original and IAEA Board-led articles and research pieces with regular, regional content from IAEA Members, industry-focused updates from ITAS, and a news round-up with relevant must-read stories from industry, insurance and VMs. Popular, regular features will be back, including tech-focused manufacturer long-reads from Thatcham Research, updates from IAEA “staple” Andrew Marsh, and exclusive insights from the leading industry voices.

David Punter, President of the IAEA, said:

“The IAEA are excited to be bringing the newly renamed and relaunched “The Assessors Journal” to market with the ABP, as it has been a key source of information for our members and wider audience online.

“As part of our ongoing restructure, this allows us to reconnect with our members offering digital and paper versions of this media, with the latest updates from the institute, its key contributors, and of course professional delivery from ABP who were selected after extensive research as best in class to service our readers. The IAEA look forward to a long working relationship with ABP who we know will deliver our readers great content.”
