Price Forbes is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike O’Mahoney to the Motor Fleet team, where he joins as Director.
Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the London Motor Fleet Market and has held senior roles in both underwriting and broking at firms including Miles Smith, ERS, Henderson’s, and most recently, Aon. His career began at Lloyd’s Syndicate Corinthian. Known for his ability to develop innovative and tailored solutions, Mike has worked with clients ranging from community-based operators to global corporations, supporting fleets of varied sizes and complexities across numerous business activities and vehicle types.

Specialist analytics and risk management consultancy 4most has added to its senior team with the addition of Colin Haines as new Client Partner for BPA Market Services based in the London office.
Haines will spearhead 4most’s activity in a growing market that has experienced record levels of transactions in recent years. With ten insurers now competing for more than 250 UK deals with over £40 billion premiums a year, the mission statement of 4most’s BPA Market Services team is to help individual insurers write one more deal a month.
Haines is a Chartered Actuary (Fellow). Over a 30-year career, he has held prominent Partner and EMEA leadership roles at major global and European pensions and actuarial consulting firms, establishing himself as a trusted adviser to multinationals, pension funds, insurers and regulators.
The Geneva Association is pleased to announce two key leadership changes, effective 1 January 2025. Darren Pain, Director Cyber and Evolving Liability, has been appointed Director of Research, succeeding Kai-Uwe Schanz. In this role, Darren will oversee the organisation’s portfolio of research while continuing to lead the organisation’s cyber and liability work. Additionally, Dennis Noordhoek, Director Public Policy & Regulation, will assume the new role of Director of External Stakeholder Engagement, spearheading efforts to deepen relationships with key organisations and amplify the Geneva Association’s global outreach.

OAK REINSURANCE
OAK Reinsurance (“OAK Re”), a global reinsurance company, announces the appointment of James Irvine as chief underwriting officer (CUO), property. Based in London, Irvine will join in spring 2025, and report directly to Cathal Carr, chief executive officer and active underwriter of OAK syndicate 2843.
In his new role Irvine will lead the development of OAK Re’s property offering, a cornerstone of the company’s growth and leadership strategy.
Irvine has close to 20 years of experience, having begun his career at Guy Carpenter before joining Lancashire in 2010, where he was pivotal in building its treaty portfolio. He later advanced to become group chief underwriting officer, reinsurance. At Lancashire, Irvine oversaw underwriting operations across both Bermuda and Lloyd’s.
HDI GLOBAL

HDI Global in the UK and Ireland has announced the appointment of Hannah Brooke as Head of Marine Cargo Underwriting with effect from 1 January 2025.
Brooke will report to Antonia Osborne, Director of Underwriting – Commercial, to lead the growth plan and strategic direction of HDI’s Marine Cargo business, where the focus is on delivering coordinated services through insurance cover, Risk Engineering and Claims Management.
Having previously held senior roles within international Marine markets, Brooke joins the UK and Ireland team from HDI’s Belgium business and brings a wealth of experience in Marine insurance, including Hull, Machinery and Cargo.
