The latest new product from Consilium;
Consilium, a leading global speciality (re)insurance broking business, has announced that its Risk Solutions division has launched an exclusive UK Contractors’ All Risks (CAR) facility.
The latest addition to its growing range of casualty risk solutions, the CAR facility – available for both annual renewable and standalone project risks – delivers broad coverage to keep projects on track, mitigate financial losses, and protect contractors against the range of risks they face on site.
Annual renewable policies are available either as standalone options or packaged with Consilium’s liability facility for a comprehensive risk solution. Coverage extends to a wide range of contractors, including civil engineers, builders, allied trades, shop and office fitters, groundworkers, and landscapers. Standalone project policies protect the employer, main contractor, and project manager when handling contracts up to £12 million in value. The cover includes contract works, plant (both hired and owned), tools, and extensions such as existing structures, DSU, and loss of profit. Minimum premiums start from £1,000.
Launching in a softening market, Consilium is doing what it does best. Delivering A+-rated capacity, flexible, efficient, and competitive underwriting expertise, and differentiation based on speed, service, and trust.
Commenting on the launch Luke Browne, Associate Partner, Risk Solutions at Consilium, said: “This is a fantastic addition to our rapidly growing casualty portfolio. It delivers responsive and flexible cover for a wide range of contractors and the unique risks they face. This facility is a highly welcome solution for brokers in a market that, for too long, has suffered from a lack of product innovation, as well as poor service and protracted claims experiences. Once again, we’re demonstrating Consilium’s continued commitment to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the broker and client experience, offering fast turnaround times, knowledgeable underwriting and tailored coverage.”
