Silverlake Sponsors C1 Racing Series For 2026

The latest track based sponsor deal from Silverlake Recycling;

Silverlake Automotive Recycling has confirmed its sponsorship of the Silverlake C1 Racing Series for a fifth consecutive year, underlining its long-term commitment to affordable, accessible and more sustainable motorsport.  The first race of the season is the three-hour Brands Hatch Indy on April 11th 2026.

The partnership, which began in 2021, has seen Silverlake become a cornerstone of the C1 Racing Club, providing not only headline sponsorship but hands-on technical support and recycled automotive parts to teams competing across the UK endurance racing calendar.

Silverlake first introduced quality-graded recycled parts into the C1 Racing paddock in 2021, helping to support a greener racing environment while keeping costs under control for competitors. Demand for recycled components has grown consistently over the last five years, reflecting a wider shift within motorsport towards sustainability without compromising performance or safety.

With endurance race meetings held at some of the UK’s most iconic circuits, the Silverlake C1 Racing Series continues to attract teams from across the country, all united by the Club’s ethos of close racing, strong community and reduced environmental impact.

Silverlake’s presence at race meetings goes far beyond branding. The company arrives trackside with equipment, expertise and parts to help keep cars running, while Greg Rose, who heads up the Silverlake race team, brings over 30 years of motorsport experience. Greg has become the go-to source within the paddock for advice on car set-up, fault-finding and race strategy, supporting teams up and down the grid.  Meanwhile, Kevin Hayter and Nacho Gonzalez-Yamada are driving forward C1 parts procurement to ensure that we provide a consistent quality service both trackside and via the new Silverlake website www.silverlake.co.uk

Allen Prebble, Managing Director at Silverlake Automotive Recycling, said:

“C1 Racing Club represents everything we value in motorsport, making racing affordable and accessible, while actively helping to reduce the carbon footprint of the sport. That aligns perfectly with Silverlake’s mission of helping people stay safe on the roads using cost-effective, quality-graded, warranty-assured recycled parts. By making vehicle maintenance and repair cheaper and more sustainable, we’re giving people real choice. Supporting the C1 Racing Series allows us to bring those values directly into motorsport, and we’re proud to continue that journey for a fifth year.”

Robin Welsh from the C1 Racing Club added:

“It’s great to have the security of such a strong, powerful sponsor, giving the Club real financial stability. Silverlake’s focus on driving greater sustainability in automotive repair is a fantastic fit with the C1 Club’s mission to help members find ways to reduce their carbon footprint. Our members know that Silverlake will have their backs at race meetings, arriving with the equipment and parts needed to help keep them on track. The experience Greg Rose brings to the paddock has been invaluable, and the support Silverlake provides genuinely strengthens our racing community.”

The Silverlake C1 Racing Series continues to grow year on year, proving that competitive endurance racing can remain exciting, inclusive and environmentally responsible.
