Equiom has strengthened its Asia leadership team with the appointment of Novia Lu as Commercial Director, Asia, supporting the Group’s long-term strategy to deepen its presence across key markets.
Novia brings extensive experience across financial and fiduciary services in Asia, advising private clients, family offices and corporate stakeholders on cross-border structuring, wealth planning and governance. Novia will support Equiom Group’s commercial strategy focussing on Asia, and work closely with regional and international teams to deliver coordinated, cross-border solutions. She will focus on supporting clients with complex structuring requirements across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. This investment in senior leadership ensures Equiom can respond to evolving client needs while maintaining the governance standards and technical depth clients expect.
LOCKTON
Lockton, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, has welcomed Euan Nicolson to a newly created role to drive business generation and client service across the UK and European energy sector, with a special focus on Italy.
He starts on 1 April as a Senior Client Adviser and will be responsible for implementing growth strategies in the high-potential energy and power sector. His role will cover clients across the region, but he will have a sharp focus on the Italian market, building on a number of recent senior hires in Italy by Lockton P.L. Ferrari.
Euan has more than 40 years of industry experience and his most recent role was Chief Commercial Officer of Aon’s Global Energy & Natural Resources practice. He spent 15 years with Aon, where he held several leadership positions focused on the energy market. He has also previously worked with Marsh and Sedgwick.
CONSILIUM

Consilium, the global speciality (re)insurance broker, has announced the launch of its Energy Risk Solutions Division, together with the appointment of Johnny Hilliard as Managing Partner. Johnny will join Consilium following completion of his notice period, to spearhead the firm’s strategic expansion into the global energy sector.
Johnny joins from Amwins Global Risks and brings over 16 years’ experience with recognised expertise in third-party liabilities, especially within the North American market. Johnny will have a particular focus on the Energy liabilities specialism within the new division, delivering tailored risk transfer solutions across the sector.
Johnny’s experience spans complex risk placements, underpinned by a detailed understanding of the evolving geopolitical, environmental and commercial dynamics shaping the global energy landscape. Throughout his career, Hilliard has held senior roles at Cogent International and Roberts Armytage & Partners, before joining Amwins as a Divisional Director for Energy, where he built and led a high-performing team.

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a leading specialist insurer, is pleased to announce that Lauren Storer has joined as an Underwriter in its Property & Motor division, reporting to Neil Robertson, Divisional Head of Open Market Property.
Storer brings more than 13 years of underwriting experience to the role, with a strong track record across Direct & Facultative (D&F) property business, spanning Lloyd’s, the company market, and global reinsurance platforms. Most recently, she served as Senior Underwriter at Lancashire Insurance Company, where she led the development and execution of the International Strategy for its D&F business and played a key role in forecasting, performance monitoring, and client engagement across multiple global territories.
TMK LIABILITY
Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a leading specialist insurer, has appointed George Leahy as an Underwriter in its Liability division, further bolstering its underwriting capability as it continues to scale one of the largest and most established International General Liability books in the Lloyd’s market. Leahy reports to Oliver Delaney, Departmental Head of Liability.
Leahy brings eight years of casualty underwriting experience, most recently from Sompo International where he specialised in International Casualty business with a focus on heavy industries, overseeing the day-to-day management of mid-sized to major clients across Canada and Australia. Prior to this, he spent five years at Ascot Underwriting, developing expertise in Construction, Energy and Mining across Canada, Australia, Europe and Latin America.
LIBERTY

Liberty, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, today announced the appointment of Cynthia Sze as Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong, effective May 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
Sze will lead Liberty’s unified Hong Kong business following the integration of its operations under a single licence, proposed to be effective on 1 April 2026. The unification brings together Liberty’s personal, commercial and specialty insurance capabilities in the market, creating a stronger, more integrated platform to serve agents, brokers, clients, and partners across Hong Kong.
Based in Hong Kong, Sze will report to Matthew Jackson, President, Liberty International Insurance, Asia Pacific. “2026 is a defining year for Liberty in Hong Kong and across Asia Pacific,” said Jackson. “Operating as one Liberty in-market enables us to deliver greater clarity, consistency and capability to our customers and distribution partners. Cynthia’s leadership experience and deep market expertise position us well for the next phase of growth.”

Zurich Cover‑More, one of the world’s largest travel insurance and assistance providers and part of Zurich Insurance Group, recently announced the appointment of Jon Ford as Head of Asia and Tricia Lim as Head of Commercial Operations and Delivery, Asia.
Jon Ford, who is currently Head of Partnerships for Zurich APAC, will retain his existing role while taking on the additional responsibilities of leading the Asia travel division for Zurich Cover-More. Based in Singapore, he will work with Matthew Reilly, Chief Operating Officer, Zurich APAC, and Donna Dorairajoo, Head of International, Zurich Cover‑More.
New Head of Commercial Operations and Delivery, Asia, Tricia Lim, will work with Jon Ford to grow Zurich Cover-More’s travel business in the Asia region. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance and travel industry and has been with Travel Guard in Asia for the past two-plus years.
In this role, Tricia will take on expanded responsibilities, focusing on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and platform and partnerships delivery across the region. She will ensure the maintenance of high standards of customer service and business continuity, and the sustainable scaling of operations for future growth.

Marsh Risk, a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) and the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, has announced the appointment of Angela Baker as UK Marsh Portfolio Solutions Leader. Effective immediately, Ms. Baker is based in London and reports to Tom Davies, UK Placement Leader, Marsh Risk.
In her new role, Ms. Baker will work closely with Marsh Risk’s UK industry leaders and Specialty teams to develop and implement portfolio solutions that deliver optimal value to clients. Among Ms. Baker’s priorities will be the continued advancement of Fast Track, the global quota share facility, exclusive to Marsh clients.
Ms. Baker brings over 30 years of industry experience spanning risk consulting and insurance, including nearly 25 years with Marsh. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed across multiple business practices, managing multiline insurance programmes from strategy through execution. Most recently, Ms. Baker served as Head of Analytics Solutions and Operational Risk Consulting in the UK, leading national multi-disciplinary teams.
