AX Makes Major Fleet Investment With Nissan

The latest from AX, as they announce a significant expansion of its replacement vehicle fleet with the purchase of 1,354 new vehicles from Nissan.

Demonstrating its commitment to keeping drivers mobile when they need it most, the accident management specialist will add 950 Juke, 364 Qashqai and 40 X-Trail models to its nationwide fleet.

The latest investment enhances AX’s ability to provide versatile and practical vehicles to drivers following an incident that closely reflect the mix of cars currently on UK roads.

Both the Juke and the Qashqai are built in the UK at Nissan’s manufacturing facility in Sunderland, supporting domestic production while ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality vehicles. The new vehicles demonstrate AX’s focus on managing its fleet so that it mirrors the UK car parc, enabling customers to receive a suitable like-for-like replacement quickly and efficiently.

The Juke offers compact SUV styling and practicality, making it well suited to urban and suburban drivers, while the Qashqai continues to be one of the UK’s most popular crossovers. The larger X-Trail bolsters AX’s SUV offering further, delivering more space and flexibility for families and business users.

By investing in a broad range of body styles and powertrains, AX ensures it can meet different customer requirements, from hatchbacks and compact crossovers to larger family SUVs and premium vehicles.

Dan Cripps, Fleet & Logistics Director at AX, said: “This latest investment helps to ensure we have the right vehicles in the right places to support our customers when they need us most. The versatility and popularity of the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail mean they are a natural fit for our fleet. With UK-built models playing a central role, this agreement also aligns with our aim to offer a modern fleet that reflects today’s car parc.”

The partnership further strengthens AX’s relationship with Nissan as the company continues to invest in its fleet to maintain customer choice and service excellence. The new agreement represents a long-term commitment on both sides, with three-year leases applying to the vast majority of the cars involved.

Russell Forbes, Fleet Director at Nissan, said: “We are extremely proud of our partnership with AX and it’s fantastic to be working with the team as the company grows its UK fleet.

‘‘Although Nissan and AX operate in different areas of the automotive industry, we are very similar in outlook. We are both constantly innovating to meet the needs of drivers, and always devising new ways to deliver excellent customer service.

‘‘We thank the team at AX for their business and look forward to our relationship continuing to go from strength to strength.’’
