RSA’s home insurance partnership with Nationwide Building Society, is live for new customers as of 5th December 2017.
The new partnership is expected to add more than one million new home insurance customers to RSA’s books, making RSA one of the top three insurers of domestic property in the U.K. RSA is already the U.K.’s largest insurer of commercial property.
RSA and Nationwide teams have worked together to improve on established home insurance ‘off the shelf’ products to create a unique flexible policy that will give Nationwide members the ability to pick and mix their level of cover.
Claims handling will also be streamlined, with one in four claims anticipated to be settled within 24 hours. The product will be available for Nationwide members to purchase online, by phone or in any of the Society’s UK-wide branches.
