Allianz Worldwide Partners UK continues to build on its relationship with Hood Group, the data and technology driven insurance specialist, with a new agreement to deliver online travel insurance to P&O Ferries via its website. This contract further enhances Allianz Worldwide Partners’ travel insurance portfolio and its reputation as a global player in the travel market.
A recent survey by Moneyfacts found that some 53% of UK travellers take a break without any type of travel insurance, although this includes UK trips as well.
Plans are already underway to integrate the insurance offering into the booking path, as well as being offered for sale via its Ferry Essentials page. P&O Ferries advises all passengers to arrange travel insurance to make sure they are fully covered during their trip.
