Barely two weeks into 2019 and we have moved very quickly into unknown political waters. The vote on Tuesday 15th confirmed resoundingly the lack of power at the heart of Government and just how split the Conservative party now is. However, the historic defeat for the Government will not change our Brexit trajectory unless compromise is found on one side or another in the days and weeks ahead.
With the Government returning to Parliament with a ‘Plan B’ today, we won’t have to wait long to know what the next steps begin to look like.
