buzzvault, the Soho-based Insurtech led by CEO and Founder Becky Downing, is set to make its hyper-personalised home insurance cover available over the web to compete directly with traditional home insurers. This expands on its app-based offering launched late last year.

buzzvault has been in app stores since November, allowing customers to take out home and contents cover, based on their household items and make claims at the tap of a button –  all powered by mobile video technology.

buzzvault customers create a digital inventory of their household possessions within minutes via a direct in-app connection with a certified buzzvault surveyor. This vastly improves the claims process and opens the door to insurance cover that, for the first time, truly reflects the bespoke needs of the individual.

Now, thanks to the new web journey, consumers can get buzzvault insurance directly from buzzvault’s website. All that’s required to unlock their personal insurance quote are answers to a few straightforward questions about their home and belongings. The whole process takes no more than one minute.

Customers are also given the option to schedule a video survey for a time that suits via a simple on-page booking form. This ensures they can receive the full buzzvault experience: personalised service, competitive prices and, at the heart of it all, a digital contents vault unique to them.

This new web-based service will open buzzvault’s proposition up to a wider audience  as the company targets growth, building on its foundations in the removals industry.
