While the coronavirus pandemic now means that all QuestGates staff are working from home, QuestGates has continued to implement plans to strengthen its team in Ireland.
In order to continue to deliver the high service levels that clients in Ireland have come to expect and be well positioned for the anticipated return to business as normal in due course, QuestGates has added two new senior members to its team given the growth the business has experienced in Ireland,. This brings the total number of specialist adjusters on the ground to 15, with an additional four in-house claims handlers supporting them.
QuestGates has also sourced new premises in Belfast to accommodate the continued expansion of the team in Northern Ireland.
“Prior to the unprecedented circumstances in which we now find ourselves, our team throughout Ireland has grown significantly since we acquired Neil, Simms & Co in Belfast. Demand for our services has increased year on year, and in particular since we joined forces with Rossiter Claims Management in Dublin to establish Rossiter QuestGates last summer,” says Glen Donaldson, head of Specialist Services at QuestGates and regional director for Ireland.
He continues: “While we manage all manner of property, liability and environmental claims throughout Ireland, I think the secret of our success has been developing true partnerships with our insurer and broker clients, which has proved vital during these unprecedented times. We concentrate on delivering a quality adjusting and claims investigation service with a real focus on customer service, whilst adding value around industry insights and market trends that help them retain customers. We have been able to maintain our response as our in-house technology is geared towards supporting remote and home working – for example, video ‘visits’ through QUBExpert.”
Simon Powell has been appointed to head up the Southern Irish property team. A major and complex loss adjuster with over a decade’s experience, Simon joins QuestGates from Sedgwick and will be based in Dublin.
Ross McKean has been appointed as Environmental Consultant/Adjuster, bringing a decade’s experience of managing environmental claims in his previous role at Crawford & Co. While naturally home-based at the moment, Ross will be working out of QuestGates new office in Belfast.
Donaldson concludes: “I’m delighted to welcome Simon and Ross to our expanding Irish team. Whilst joining us at a challenging time for our clients and customers, their expertise complements our already experienced team and will ensure that our clients throughout Ireland continue to receive great service.”
