Gallagher Rebrands Insure4Retirement

Gallagher today announces that it is rebranding its household insurance provider Insure4Retirement to Gallagher from November, aligning it with the wider insurance broking group.

The Insure4Retirement business was founded in 2004 and was acquired by Gallagher in 2012. The business offers home, motor and travel insurance and all these products will continue to be available following the rebrand, to customers of all ages, rather than just the over 50s.

Its flagship home insurance policy provides up to £1m buildings cover and up to £100,000 contents cover as standard, backed by a selected panel of insurers.

Its travel insurance policy specialises in covering pre-existing medical conditions. The product has no upper age limits on single trips, 24/7 emergency claims service, terrorism cover available upon request. All medical conditions are considered and there is no doctors’ certificate required.

Its motor insurance product includes optional benefits such as protected no claims, uninsured driver cover, onward journey cover, a free courtesy car and 24-hour accident helpline.

Michael Rea, CEO of Gallagher’s UK Retail Division commented: “This is an exciting evolution for this part of our business as we harness the power of the Gallagher brand and broaden our offering to a wider cross-section of customers. We have invested in our brand over recent years, in particular through our sponsorship of Gallagher Premiership Rugby, and this is the natural next step for our suite of consumer products.”
