iPipeline® – a leading provider of digital solutions and services to the life and pensions market – today announced a partnership with Wipro Limited to deliver the SSG Digital® Platform, iPipeline’s self-service, end-to-end platform. The new collaboration will drive the delivery of digital transformation in the protection market.
The partnership with Wipro, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company, will help protection insurers accelerate their digital growth plans and allow them to adapt and free themselves of legacy system restrictions. Using an end-to-end, quote-to-claim digital solution means that providers can respond more quickly to fast-changing market conditions – a particularly important capability in the evolving landscape of COVID-19.
The partnership will help deliver the SSG Digital Platform to support the ambitions of new customers in both the UK and worldwide. The combined capabilities will benefit the industry by allowing insurers to quickly scale up to develop new propositions and enter different markets where current technical restrictions prevent them from doing so. It will also help them better meet their customers’ needs.
The SSG Digital Platform has now processed more than 3.7 million policies across protection, savings, and investments. The SSG Digital platform currently processes over 30% of UK new protection policies.
