Insurtech ecosystem specialist Quotall has announced that it has entered into a partnership with specialist motor insurer MCE Insurance (MCE), which has one of the higher profiles in the world of motorcycle insurance across the UK.
Quotall will provide MCE with strategic digital services and marketing consultancy to support its growth ambitions as an insurtech. MCE is targeting the expansion of its multi-channel digital insurance proposition in line with its strategy to diversify into new lines of business, and deliver excellent and fair customer service that rewards loyalty.
Quotall CEO Simon Ball said: “We are delighted to have entered into this agreement with MCE as they pursue their digitisation strategy and develop as an insurtech by offering first-class products, services and user experiences to a broadening range of customers.
These are exciting times for MCE and we look forward to adding our considerable experience and expertise as they continue their journey towards a new approach to retailing insurance.”
Julian Edwards, CEO of MCE Insurance, added: “We are committed to ‘digital first’. Last year alone saw us invest around £3 million to create a customer-centric full self-service model. That went live in November and within three months, we saw sales of add-ons increase by 400% and average premium income increase by 24%. Empowering customers to make informed choices is good for everybody. In Quotall, we see a digital business that shares our vision, and we look forward to continuing our transformation with them.
We have strong brand equity in the UK market – with an unrelenting focus on treating customers fairly – and the support and expertise of the Quotall team will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and expand into new markets.”
