Specialist insurer Ecclesiastical has announced a multi-year partnership with Cytora, an insurance technology company. Ecclesiastical will deploy the Cytora Platform to streamline their risk intake across the UK enabling Ecclesiastical to accelerate profitable growth while giving brokers and customers a better, faster experience.
The Cytora platform will be integrated into the Ecclesiastical new business workflow increasing the capacity for growth in specialist risk segments through a more efficient, effective and data-driven pipeline, quote and bind process. The partnership builds on the success that Ecclesiastical has achieved in working with Cytora over the last 12 months to unify data flows and effectively focus capacity on priority risk segments.
The partnership comes as Ecclesiastical seeks to deepen its capabilities through investment in technology and innovation to enhance propositions and service to customers. It also comes at a time when the pressure on firms to find ways to become more profitable are mounting. Just this week, Amazon announced that it will be offering insurance to SMEs. Cytora focuses on commercial lines and has some interesting thoughts on how businesses can combat the threat of big tech by using technology, data and artificial intelligence to increase profitability and competitiveness
