Leading cyber security insurance adviser Partners& has launched ‘CyberSpace’, a ground-breaking AR (Augmented Reality) cyber security information portal, for private clients and businesses alike.
Once inside the portal, which is available to members of the public and is accessed via a QR code or URL rather than an app, the Partners& features will appear on the screen like an exhibition stand. Guests will then be greeted by Partners& risk management partner Matthew Clark, in his role as a 3D hologram ‘virtual concierge’. Guests can interact with Matthew as he answers FAQ’s and guides visitors to different areas of the portal. The virtual concierge element of the portal is thought to be a first of its kind in the AR sector.
The portal is designed to be a source of information including videos, fact sheets and downloadable information to help keep families and businesses safe from all forms of cyber-attack and the insurance products available to mitigate such risks.
Matthew said: “The threats posed by cyber risk aren’t limited to companies and organisations anymore. Families and individuals are coming to terms with identity theft, online fraud and privacy breaches too. As an advice-led consultancy, we’ve developed CyberSpace, a rich source of advice, tools, risk management and insurance products, designed to help our clients to keep their families safe online, as well as protecting their businesses against cyber intrusion.”
Partners& marketing manager Millie Smith who developed the concept said: “I knew if we were talking about cutting edge issues like cyber risk and security, we needed to be presenting it in a way that showed we were comfortable in a high-tech environment.
