Synapse Services LLC, a leading specialty wholesale insurance broker, has announced it will acquire a majority of the Renewal Rights to William “Bill” Twitty’s book of business. Mr. Twitty, the founder of a successful environmental insurance operation since 2006, has announced he will retire, effective December 31, 2021.
“Bill is a recognized, distinguished specialty wholesale broker whose professional career spans several decades, highlighted by 15 years of success growing the notable Birmingham book of business,” stated Michael Gill, Partner of Synapse Services, “We are proud to build upon Bill’s legacy by providing enhanced Synapse Centralis data driven solutions. This technical approach will broaden the insurance purchasing experience for retail brokers and their insureds.”
Synapse also has appointed a dedicated team to serve Twitty’s former clients. Cody Lowrey, Jennifer Weibelt, Shelby Ashley and Lyndzi Hirras will join the Synapse team in its new Birmingham office to further build and expand Bill’s relationships, effective December 6, 2021.
