Latest from Zego;
Zego has been ranked as the 14th fastest growing company in Europe by the Financial Times, in the publication’s sixth annual FT1000 list published earlier this week: https://www.ft.com/ft1000-2022. Zego is one of the UK’s leading commercial motor insurers, providing pay-as-you-go policies to delivery riders and fleet businesses (taxis, vans, micro mobility vehicles) across Europe.
This year’s FT1000 ranks the European companies that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2017 and 2020. Zego’s CAGR for this period came in at 276.63% – miles ahead of companies like Octopus Energy and the minimum CAGR required to make the list.
This is testament to Zego’s successes over the past few years, having become the UK’s first insurtech unicorn, raised well over £200m, grown to almost 700 people and expanded to seven countries across Europe. In 2022, they expect to launch in at least two more countries and will need to keep increasing the headcount as they go after a £20billion+ fleet insurance market in Europe.
