Essex-based insurance broker, Ascend Broking, has become the official sponsor of its local football club, Chelmsford City, for the 2022/23 season.
Ascend Broking has cemented its relationship the club, having been involved as a Platinum Partner in previous years and is now the official ‘name on the shirt’.
Signing up as the official sponsor of the club, which plays in the Vanarama National League South, was a sensible move for a brokerage that has always been heavily involved in supporting grassroots local causes.
Ascend Broking recognises the football club is at the heart of life in the Chelmsford community and wants to embrace all the community involvement opportunities that its sponsorship can provide.
Through working closely with Chelmsford City, the brokerage aims to ensure that the Chelmsford community reaps the unique benefits that can be derived from a passion for football, whether that is social inclusion, fostering better fitness in the community or developing young footballing talent in schools.
