Staysure Group has announced that it has acquired the remaining shares in Payingtoomuch (PTM), the Travel Insurance price comparison website, as Mike Ward, founder and Managing Director of the business looks to step down.
Effective from 15th September 2022, the completion of the purchase of the remaining shares in PTM, will enable Staysure Group to further extend its footprint in the market by establishing PTM as the leading Travel Insurance price comparison website in the UK.
Mike Ward started PTM in 2011 and has grown the business to serve over 50,000 customers a year, successfully navigating the challenges of the pandemic and with a Trustpilot Trustscore of 4.8 (rated Excellent). Staysure Group will now look to invest further in the business and accelerate its growth in the Travel Insurance price comparison market, through extending the range of high street insurer brands available on the site and bringing more of its digital marketing expertise to bear.
