SquareTrade, an Allstate company and global provider of product insurance plans, has signed a three-year contract extension and expansion with MediaMarkt BeNeLux, Europe’s largest consumer electronics retailer. The agreement deepens the companies’ existing relationship and will see SquareTrade providing and managing insurance plans for all of MediaMarkt’s product categories across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
The companies’ existing relationship began in May 2022, with SquareTrade providing insurance plans for consumer electronics and appliances sold at MediaMarkt throughout the Netherlands. Having helped thousands of MediaMarkt customers in the Netherlands since launch, the new agreement now extends to cover every product category within MediaMarkt Belgium and Luxembourg as well, adding new plan options to suit a variety of customer needs. These include flexible monthly billing options, the addition of theft coverage for monthly plans, and a variety of repair options.
