Managing commercial property claims can often be complex and time-consuming, especially when multi regional offices, admin or legal services are involved in the settlement process. Here’s some news from RELA, the specialist renewables loss adjuster, who have launched a new global property service tailored to the non-delegated authority and Third-Party Administrator (TPA) market.
The new proposition provides independent property adjusting services for both TPA and non-delegated authority claims, delivered by a highly qualified team of in-house adjusters, supported by a global network.
The proposition has been designed to adapt to a company’s specific requirements and can be white labelled for the end customer. Coverholders can directly access their own claims data or bordereaux-on-demand and produce branded email inboxes and freephone numbers for customers when they make a claim.
The new division will be headed up by RELA CEO, Alan Tucker, who has almost 30 years’ experience managing property, marine and energy claims. Joining him in the new division is Stephen Andrews, who recently joined from Gallagher Bassett as Head of Service Delivery and leads a team of highly experienced adjusters based in Bridgend, Wales.
Commenting on the new practice, Alan Tucker said: “RELA has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, independence and impartiality, as well as a collaborative approach and an ability to respond quickly to claims wherever they are in the world.
“We are very excited to bring our tried, tested and successful model to the property market and we are confident that with the calibre of people like Steve on board and our proven approach to managing claims, complex or otherwise, we will replicate the success we have enjoyed in other sectors.”
Established in 2012, RELA has settled more than 2,500 claims worldwide to a value of over $500m, becoming one of the leading providers of risk services in the renewable energy and marine sectors in the process. That expertise has now been introduced to the property market.
