New MD Appointed at SSP Worldwide

Latest key appointment for SSP Worldwide;

In a move to further its growth ambitions in the UK, SSP Worldwide, a leading software provider to the insurance industry has appointed Martyn Mathews as Managing Director of SSP Broker, a newly created role for the business.

In 2021 Vencora (a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc, a $6bn business listed on the Toronto stock exchange Overview | Constellation Software (csisoftware.com)) acquired SSP Worldwide and embarked on a significant program of stability, investing in the wider business, and most recently creating a structure that formed three distinct business units. One of these, SSP Broker has been created to specifically support the needs of the UK broker market.

Mathews joins SSP Broker from LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Insurance where he was Vice President of Personal and Commercial Lines and responsible for the growth strategy of the organisation. Before this, he spent 14 years with Experian, 7 of which were spent in their Insurance portfolio.

Martyn Mathews is a highly respected and well-known figure in the insurance and financial services sector. He brings over 20 years’ experience and takes up the role of Managing Director to drive the next phase of SSP Broker’s development and growth. The ever-changing insurance regulatory landscape means that Brokers must constantly adapt, and utilise technology that also supports demanding consumer buying behaviours.
