New Commercial Lines MD at RSA

This appointments update came in yesterday from RSA;

RSA Insurance announces the appointment of Sonya Bryson as Commercial Lines Managing Director, effective from 01 May 2024 and subject to regulatory approval.

Reporting to Ken Norgrove, CEO UK & International, Sonya will have full responsibility for the strategy, P&L and performance of RSA’s commercial lines business in the UK, (including NIG & FarmWeb). Sonya joins RSA from Direct Line Group where she was Commercial Managing Director and Managing Director NIG. Sonya has held a number of senior leadership roles, having always worked within the commercial insurance market.

Ken Norgrove, Chief Executive Officer commented: “This is a transformational year for RSA as we complete the integration of NIG which will take us to number three in the market. We have ambitious plans, taking the strengths of RSA, NIG & FarmWeb to create a specialist Commercial Lines business that’s market leading for broker service, products and pricing.
