SYNETIQ, an IAA company, has been awarded Gold Carbon Literate Organisation (CLO) status from the Carbon Literacy Project. Gold status recognises that more than 50% of SYNETIQ colleagues have completed industry-specific Carbon Literacy training and are certified as Carbon Literate, highlighting SYNETIQ’s ongoing commitment to creating lasting, positive environmental change.
“We’re thrilled to have achieved Gold CLO status,” said Tom Rumboll, UK Managing Director for IAA and CEO of SYNETIQ. “Being awarded Gold status is a reflection of our commitment to cultivating a climate-conscious culture and emphasises our efforts to create a positive change. My thanks go to our Carbon Literacy trainers as well as each and every one of our colleagues across the business who have dedicated their time to help us achieve this milestone. It’s been a real team effort.
“Carbon Literacy Gold is a powerful catalyst for transformation. It has given us the knowledge and confidence to educate our colleagues, our clients and our neighbours, and inspired us to make ambitious and meaningful commitments. ”
Phil Korbel, Co-Founder of the Carbon Literacy Project said: “From our first conversation with SYNETIQ it was clear that they were going to go the extra mile on climate action and the company has delivered on that potential. The fact that SYNETIQ have opened their doors to enable their neighbours to go Carbon Literate, hosted meetings involving Ed Miliband with local businesses and introduced customers to our charity mean that they fully deserve the recognition that this award brings.”
