Sutton Risks Extends Partnership Deal With QBE

The latest news from Sutton Risks, who are extending their partnership with QBE;

Sutton Specialist Risks (SSR) and QBE have announced a five-year agreement to extend their relationship, taking the partnership to four decades of success. QBE provides SSR with market leading bespoke covers tailored to businesses operating in industries including security, fire protection, electrical and cleaning.

The extension means SSR will be supported with significant capacity for the next five years with GWP expected to exceed £50m annually.

SSR Managing Director Gary Uren, commented:

“Ever since our inception in 1989, our collaboration with QBE has played an important component of our business and we are delighted to extend the relationship for another five years. We value QBE’s technical expertise and access to data-led portfolio solutions.

The success of this facility is based on providing the UK broking community with quality service as well as excellent knowledge of the specialised sectors. By working under an extensive delegated underwriting authority and utilising e-trade functionality, our underwriting and development teams work together with claims support functions to offer a bespoke unique proposition for the market.”

QBE Head of Trading South West Region Steve Field, commented:

“Our partnership with SSR is a true demonstration of collaborative solutions. We are delighted to continue our work with SSR through our team in Bristol and are proud of the longevity of this relationship – it is unique in the insurance industry.

“Now backed by global fintech Acrisure, SSR continues to recognise the value from their relationship with QBE as they further develop their presence in the UK.”

The proposition is evolving with new wording and additional covers added.
