New Face at Russell Scanlan Commercial Team

The word from Russell Scanlan;

Nottingham-based chartered insurance broker Russell Scanlan has expanded its team by bringing in a new hire at a time of exciting changes for the business. Allan Raven has joined the Wellington Circus team as Commercial Account Handler, with a current focus on Russell Scanlan’s small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) offering.

With more than 37 years’ experience in the industry working closely with commercial clients, from start-ups through to large corporations, Allan brings substantial industry knowledge to the role and will help to consolidate the exceptional client services for which Russell Scanlan is well-known.

In his current role, Allan will focus on new businesses and renewals, with the expertise to branch into larger commercial accounts when required. He brings a fresh and unique perspective to the Russell Scanlan team, helping the business to meet the growing demands of the commercial sector.

Allan has been brought onboard during a period of significant change and growth for Russell Scanlan. In June, the company announced former Sales & Marketing Director Mike Dickinson’s appointment to the role Managing Director, as well as former Nottingham Insurance Institute
President Joanne Marriot’s appointment to the Board of Directors.

Earlier this year Russell Scanlan acquired Leicester-based specialist insurance firm Building & Land Guarantees Ltd (BLG), now also part of the Acrisure UK, which has now established its Midlands regional platform, of which Managing Director Mike has been appointed Managing
Partner. Mike will assume overall responsibility for the fintech company’s growth in the region through the establishment of the new Acrisure Retail UK Midlands Hub.
