HF, leading legal advisers in the commercial and insurance sectors, has acquired boutique employment law firm, Law By Design and two other businesses within the ‘By Design’ group. Law By Design, recognised in the Legal 500 as a leading employment law firm based in the North West, has an exceptional reputation in the field, providing bespoke employment services to clients in the private and public sectors including the NHS, education and local authorities.

Investigations by Design and HR Solutions by Design provide specialist HR, HR investigations and Organisational Development services to a wide range of businesses.

Adding the depth and breadth of their expertise to the existing and expanding HF’ commercial specialisms provide clients of both firms access to a wider range of legal services further supported by HF’s ongoing programme of innovation and investment.
