MAPFRE Ready to Say Hola, Que Pasa at ITC Vegas

If you are feeling the buzz from ITC Vegas right now, then call in on MAPFRE, the only Spanish insurer attending this prestige event, here’s the word;

MAPFRE will be present at ITC Vegas, the world’s largest innovation event in the insurance sector, with more than 10,000 attendees, which will be held from 15-17 October at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, United States.

The multinational will be the only Spanish insurance company at the event, and one of the two companies from our country with a presence on the stage, with Mundi Ventures being the second.

Carlos Cendra, Scouting & Investment Lead at MAPFRE Open Innovation, will be part of the opening conference of ITC Latam, the part of the event focused on Latin America, on 15 October. He will be joined by Hugues Bertín, president of the Pacific Insurtech Alliance, and both will discuss the state of the Latin American insurtech ecosystem, trends and possible synergies with other players, including large corporations.

José Luis Bernal, Chief Digital and Data Officer at MAPFRE USA, will also participate in the event. In his case, on 16 October, he will be present in a roundtable on the use of data and analytics for claims management.

Specifically, he will talk about the challenges faced by organizations to extract valuable insights from claims, the use of machine learning models to identify patterns and trends, and automation in claims management, among other topics. ITC Vegas is the world’s largest gathering for innovation in the insurance industry. With more than 10,000 attendees from around the world, the event seeks to drive innovation and the insurtech ecosystem through networking meetings, roundtables, expert panels and much more.
