New Travel Risk Self-Assessment Launched by Aviva

Aviva is pleased to announce the launch of its free Travel Risk Management Maturity Model Self-Assessment, designed to help businesses evaluate and manage their travel related risks more effectively. This market-leading initiative is part of Aviva’s ongoing commitment to support clients in navigating the complexities of business travel risk management.

The risk assessment, powered by specialist partner, GSA Global, is now available to new and existing Aviva Business Travel customers.

The self-assessment tool assesses businesses against the ISO 31030 Travel Risk Management (TRM) Standard, a best practice framework that helps organisations evaluate and manage their work-related travel risks effectively. It covers policy development, programme implementation, threat identification, risk monitoring and prevention strategies.

It provides an overall summary of an organisation’s performance against the ISO Standard, helping them identify areas for improvement and implement effective risk management strategies. By leveraging this tool, companies could better protect their employees and ensure safer business travel experiences. Aviva’s Business Travel product provides cover for medical expenses, emergency travel expenses, repatriation, emergency medical evaluation and accommodation and sustenance expenses as a result of accidental bodily injury or illness occurring abroad. A
range of benefits is included as standard, including cover for personal belongings, travel delay or cancellation, hijack, kidnap and ransom, and legal expenses.
