Price Forbes Singapore is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Gray as Director of Professional Risks and Healthcare. Based in Singapore, Gray will report directly to Phil Johnson, CEO of Price Forbes Asia Pacific, bringing with her over a decade of industry experience across both broking and underwriting. In her new role, Jennifer will focus on effectively managing and expanding Price Forbes’ professional lines and healthcare portfolio, leveraging her experience to drive growth through both domestic and international markets.
Previously, Jennifer served as Regional Head of Corporate for Asia at Honan Insurance Group Asia, where she was instrumental in developing and servicing a diverse retail and international portfolio across the region.
Commenting on her new role, Jennifer said: “Having previously worked in the London market, Price Forbes was a brand I respected and knew well. I am looking forward to being part of the brand’s regional expansion into Asia and building out our professional lines and healthcare team.”
TOKIO MARINE
Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) today announces the appointment of Dan Browne as a Professional Indemnity (PI) Underwriter and Chloe Pitchford as a PI Development Underwriter. Dan and Chloe will join TMHCC’s growing Professional Risk team with Dan based in London and Chloe in Manchester.
Dan brings with him 6 years of underwriting experience, specialising in professional indemnity, cyber and liability business. He will have a specific focus on business development within the London market. Chloe joins with 7 years broking and underwriting experience. At TMHCC, she will be based in the Manchester office, focusing on growing the PI portfolio and taking responsibility for managing relationships with the company’s extensive broker network.
Dan and Chloe will be part of a TMHCC Professional Risk team that is market leading in their wealth of knowledge, expertise and years of combined experience. Their arrival not only bolsters TMHCC’s ability to manage a growing portfolio but also signifies the business’ commitment to delivering exceptional service and tailored risk solutions to support brokers and insureds.
ABI
Sacha Romanovitch has joined the Association of British Insurers (ABI) as its Independent Non-Executive Director, replacing the outgoing INED Baroness Dianne Hayter. Sacha takes up her role with immediate effect.
Sacha was CEO of not-for-profit Fair 4All Finance, which aims to boost financial inclusion and before that was the CEO of accounting firm Grant Thornton. Beyond her business acumen, she is recognised for her work contributing to the diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) agenda and as an expert in developing company purpose.
As the ABI’s INED, Sacha will sit on the Board and several committees, including Audit & Risk, Consumer and the Appointments & Remuneration committees. She will also attend other groups as appropriate, including the Consumer Advisory Group (CAG) which is made up of key figures from consumer groups such Which? and Citizens Advice.
The role of the INED is designed to bring outside perspective to the ABI, enrich diversity of experience and reinforce strong governance.
HDI GLOBAL
Melanie Windirsch is the new Head of International Programmes (IP) at HDI Global SE. She succeeds Dr Dirk Höring, who held the position before being promoted to the HDI Global SE Executive Board in April. In her new role, Windirsch will report to Dr Thomas Kuhnt, COO/CIO of HDI Global.
Melanie Windirsch brings more than twelve years of experience in the field of Corporate Insurance to HDI Global, having previously worked at Allianz Commercial. In her last position, Windirsch acted as Head of Global Network Management and Multinational Governance. Furthermore, she upholds a proven track record in Underwriting. Windirsch will be responsible for more than 50 colleagues in the departments of HDI Global IP Services, IP Operations and Technology, and Global Network.
SEDGWICK

Sedgwick, a leading global provider of claims management, loss adjusting and technology-enabled business solutions, has appointed Gabriel Braimah as International Business Development Manager.

Chubb has named Mario Romanelli as Regional President South America and Diego Sosa as Regional President Northern Latin America. Effective immediately, both Mario and Diego will report to Paul McNamee, Executive Vice President, Chubb Group and President, Chubb Overseas General.
Romanelli will lead the regional office in Miami as well as Chubb’s operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Sosa will continue to lead Chubb’s operations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America and its business in Panama and Puerto Rico.

Marsh has announced senior leadership appointments within its global placement practice. Effective November 1, Christopher Lang will assume the role of Digital Leader, Marsh Specialty and Global Placement, reporting to Pat Donnelly, President, Marsh Specialty and Global Placement.
In this newly created role, Mr. Lang will lead Marsh’s digital global insurance placement strategy designed to improve the client experience and operational efficiency. This initiative will enable Marsh brokers and underwriters to connect, share data, and trade risk seamlessly and efficiently on a proprietary platform.
Succeeding Mr. Lang on November 1 are Marsh veterans Daniel Aronson, US Casualty Practice Leader, and Michael Rouse, US Property Practice Leader. As Co-Global Placement Leaders for the region, Messrs. Aronson and Rouse will drive all elements of Marsh’s global placement strategy in the US and Canada, working with key global and regional stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and challenge the market to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Hearn is a seasoned executive with nearly four decades of experience in the global insurance and reinsurance sector, most recently as the Vice Chair of Marsh McLennan and Chief Executive Officer of Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC. Previously, he served as the Global Chairman and Global CEO of Willis Re, where he was also a member of the Willis Group Executive Committee.
