Avantia Teams Up With 360Globalnet on Claims

The latest partnership news from Avantia;

High-growth home insurance platform, Avantia Group, has launched a new claims operating model in partnership with UK-based technology company, 360Globalnet.

The new model brings Avantia Group’s claims processing in-house, with the firm developing their existing AI capabilities to enable them to monitor and influence every customer touchpoint in the claims process. By integrating advanced data capture and AI technology, Avantia has introduced a personalised claims submission and policy checker, providing customers with 24/7 access to tailored guidance based on their specific scenarios, policy coverages, and products.

This partnership builds on Avantia’s strong track record of AI innovation, which began in 2018 with the development of Cortex, its intelligent decision-making platform for pricing and rating. The insurer’s unique technology allows it to offer a 97% quote footprint. The new claims operating model now allows Cortex to extend its reach into claims, harnessing all forms of AI to boost efficiency and drive innovation.

360Globalnet specialises in digitising insurance claims handling using video, data, and AI, with a no-code platform that gives insurers full claim visibility to improve customer outcomes and manage risk assessment across multiple insurance sectors.

The development is part of a broader operational transformation programme to enhance the claims customer experience at Avantia, building on a suite of improvements made over the past 18 months. The insurer has recently created a digital claims journey and introduced intelligent, automated claims decisioning and handling, as well as building specialist in-house teams for complex perils (e.g. escape of water), all helping to improve the efficiency of contact points and the overall claims experience.

Mark Eastham, CEO at Avantia Group, said: “This new operating model sets us apart from other insurers and MGAs reliant on legacy technology. Our ‘MGA+’ approach pushes the boundaries of a typical MGA setup, bringing significant advantages to our business. By insourcing claims and leveraging AI, we’re also creating a more efficient, personalised experience that ultimately benefits our customers.”

Paul Stanley, CEO at 360Globalnet added: “Our partnership with Avantia Group represents a significant step forward in claims management. By combining our award-winning digital claims technology with Avantia’s innovative approach, we’re creating a seamless, data-driven claims experience that is infinitely scalable. This collaboration showcases how innovative insurers can use technology to improve customer service, streamline operations, and gain valuable insights across the entire claims lifecycle.”

Dan Huddart, CTO at Avantia Group, comments: “AI isn’t a bandwagon we’ve suddenly jumped on; we’ve been using it for years to make intelligent real-time decisions for our customers. Our investment in a proprietary decision-making platform, with access to rich data from our entire operation, enables our teams to adapt quickly as AI capability evolves. This agility means we’re able to deliver the best possible service to our customers.”
