The latest update from Hood Group, as they complete an MBO with support of Connection Capital;
The Management team at Hood Group Limited are pleased to announce they have completed the buy-out of the Group’s silent shareholders, with the support of Connection Capital LLP, the private equity and alternative investment platform.
The existing management team of CEO Simon Hood, Bruce Reid Commercial Director, James Wallis Chief Operating Officer, Mark Izzard Travel Director, and Andy Homer Non-Exec Chair, all remain with the business, as do the Associate Directors.
Finance provided by the transaction includes significant capital to support investment in the Direct and B2B insurance distribution business, investment to pursue new and existing verticals, and to bolster other functions and resource across the Group, as the company continues on its drive to enhance delivery of great customer experiences and outcomes, that benefit our brand and insurer partners, and all customers.
