Perfect Pet Expands to Meet Demand

The latest update from Perfect Pet;

Pet insurer, Perfect Pet, part of Tedaisy Insurance Group has tripled its team and seen an increase in pets covered by its insurance by 39% from 2023 to 2024. The business’ growth comes as it paves the way for new product and customer experience innovation following the launch of its new brand identity today.

The brand’s growth strategy in 2025  is underpinned by the launch of a new policy admin system that will allow the business to deliver more personalised communication in real-time to customers. The system will also support the roll out of new technologies. This will include integrating with dog health and activity app, Perro, and a Signs and Symptoms Checker, a free tool on the Perfect Pet website where owners can plug in their pet’s symptoms for advice on how to help their pet.

Further to this, Perfect pet has invested in the growth of its customer focussed teams, including marketing, to help enhance customer experience and awareness.

The strategy is set to create new opportunities to partner with retailers, vets, and suppliers to increase its offering to customers. Underpinned by a rebrand that is “purposeful,  enthusiastic and straightforward”, the new brand identity reflects the business’ commitment to making pet insurance easy to understand and fairer for all.

Natalie Surtees, managing director and co-founder at Perfect Pet said: “The moments we touch in people’s and pets’ lives are important and emotional ones. As true owner champions we step up when it matters. As a lifelong dog lover, this is what I founded the business on eight years ago.

“For pet owners, we know that one of the most critical elements to selecting insurance for their pets is the quality of treatment their dog or cat will see in return. Pet owners want to know that their pets will get the best care possible and be truly looked after when they need it most. But it is not just about being there when things go wrong, it’s about their wellness too. Particularly in recent years following lockdown, more people are choosing to have a pet. In addition to this, lifestyle changes, like working from home and a general cultural shift towards wellness, means  pets’ needs are changing too.

“By investing in our team – who themselves are passionate animal lovers whose photos with their furry friends feature in our rebrand – and our products and services, we will be making our support more accessible than ever. This is also opening more doors to partnerships that will give greater access to pet care services and expert advice for owners.”

Perfect Pet’s new strategy not only has the capacity to boost growth for retailers, vets, and suppliers but also provides customers with an opportunity to buy quality products and services at reduced prices.
