Industry Insights Teams Up With Solace Loss Adjusting

The latest update from Industry Insights, who are pleased to announce a new Partnership with Solace Loss Adjusting to bolster the Connected Solutions supply chain proposition for insurer, fleet and manufacturer clients. Here are the details;

A new company of nationwide loss adjusters, Solace, enters the insurance market, promising to redefine the investigation and resolution of complex insurance claims.

The pioneering Connected Solutions supply chain now touches over 15% of all UK motor claims and growing the business into property claims, as its Data and Insights business, Trend Tracker, has launched a property claims report, too.

The partnership with Solace further streamlines the journey across motor, home and commercial – extending the service to include expert investigation and assessment of large and complex claims.

A new and unique proposition, established by fully qualified, experienced loss adjusters and insurance specialists, the firm aims to simplify processes, eliminate unnecessary delays, and ensure a transparent and seamless service every time.

Mark Orton, the founder of Solace, a company of Prism Network (a specialist in resolving Building Repair and Property Damage claims) has been a part of Connected Solutions since 2018.

“Prism have been a key link in our Connected Solutions supply chain for many years now, delivering exceptional service to UK insurers and fleets,” said Steve Thompson, Director, Industry Insights. “Their move into complex claims negotiation with ‘Solace’ makes perfect sense.

“Due to their unique proposition, we are very proud to announce Solace as our exclusive Loss Adjusting Partner and also Platinum sponsor of the recently launched Trend Tracker Property Report. We look forward to engaging with existing and new clients with their exciting proposition.”

“Although Solace will operate independently of Prism Network, there are advantages to having both businesses,” said Mark. “In addition to building extensive experience, over the past 15 years, we have established a vast network of carefully selected surveyors, engineers, contractors, and industry specialists. At times, our Solace loss adjusters can rely on this team to assist in investigating, assessing, and resolving even the most complex insurance claims on behalf of our customers.”

James Fairbairn, Director at Solace, has been handling claims and loss adjusting for almost 25 years.

“The key to unlocking complexity is to adopt a people-centred approach where common sense is applied,” said James. “As a smaller business, we believe we can be more agile, accessible, and responsive. When you intentionally put people first, whether a policyholder or an insurance company representative, it drives better decision-making and fairer outcomes for all. This is what we think sets us apart.”

The company will handle insurance cases involving major commercial and household claims, environmental, heritage, private clients, real estate, subsidence, and third-party property damage. These cases are typically characterised by the loss or damage of high-value assets and involve multiple stakeholders.

With a new and fresh approach to loss adjusting, legacy issues such as inefficiency, inflated fees, and risk of fraud are addressed: Solace has rewritten a more insurer-favourable proposition which includes three options: a fixed fee per claim, tiered fee and performance-based model, for predictable costs.

James added: “Complex claims can be emotionally challenging for policyholders. Insurance companies are under more pressure to process claims quickly and transparently. They must provide personalised products and service levels to build trust, retain customers, and stay competitive.

“We’re privileged to be trusted to represent some of the biggest insurance brands, helping to protect their reputation, bolster policyholder satisfaction, and create a better claims resolution experience by delivering fair outcomes for all parties.”
