KONSILEO

Chartered insurance broker Konsileo has appointed US insurance, operations, and investment executive Joe Zuk to its board of directors to advise and support on its continued fast growth. Joe started his career in broking in New York and built several reinsurance and MGA operations before becoming a hands-on investor and operator specialising in middle-market growth firms. He is an operating partner at US-based Altamont Capital Partners (ACP), where he serves as a board member or advisor to several high-growth innovative insurance businesses, many active in the UK market.
His appointment to Konsileo’s board is independent of his Altamont position.
INSLY
Insly, the low-code software provider to the insurance industry, has appointed insurance sales expert, Christian Bangsgaard, as a non-executive board member. Bangsgaard is an experienced NED and software sales leader in insurance software, AI, automation, and data analytics businesses. Previous positions include as Sales Director Nordic at Guidewire, Country Manager at Alteryx, and VP Sales EMEA at Insurance Business Applications.
Bangsgaard brings a proven sales methodology from his experience selling software to tier-one to four insurance companies, along with deep industry insights, and an extensive network across the industry. He is also skilled at developing value-driven positioning and go-to-market strategy to maximise client conversion, satisfaction, retention, and customer lifetime value.
PRICE FORBES

Markel, the insurance operations within the Markel Group Inc. (NYSE: MKL), has promoted from within by appointing Mike Petchey to head of schemes to lead its broker-led, specialist schemes proposition.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Petchey steps into his new role following six years in senior development positions at Markel. Most recently, he served as the head of corporate accounts, where he significantly contributed to formulating Markel’s schemes strategy and building successful broker partnerships across the UK.
ABI

Chris Bose has been appointed Director of General Insurance & International at the ABI.
Chris will join the ABI on 11th August from Nationwide Building Society where he has worked for the past 10 years. He has led the Policy and Public Affairs function during this time and also served as Interim Director of Corporate Affairs. Prior to this, Chris worked in a variety of government affairs and policy roles in Santander and Lansons, as well as undertaking a secondment at HM Treasury.

QBE
QBE is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Browne as Director of Underwriting, Casualty for the UK, effective from 1 January 2026. Adrian has more than two decades of experience in insurance, spanning actuarial pricing and underwriting leadership. In the last four years, he has worked as Portfolio Manager for UK Casualty.
Based in London, Adrian will report into Chris Wallace, Executive Director of UK Insurance at QBE Europe.
ERS
ERS, the UK’s leading specialist motor insurer has announced a series of leadership changes designed to support the next stage of its growth journey.
Martin Hall has been appointed as Managing Director ERS, taking responsibility for the performance of Lloyd’s Syndicate 218. Hall has played a key role in ERS’ success to date and brings deep market knowledge, strategic clarity, and an unwavering focus on underwriting discipline. Prior to ERS, Hall held senior roles at Direct Line Group and Zurich.
In his expanded role, which is subject to regulatory approval, Hall will report directly to IQUW Group CEO, Peter Bilsby.
Replacing Martin as Active Underwriter, Scott Tillbrook has been promoted following his successful leadership of ERS’ Personal Lines Bespoke, Commercial, and Agriculture portfolios, subject to regulatory approval. Scott’s track record of growing profitable niche and specialist classes makes him ideally placed to lead the specialist syndicate’s next phase.
These changes come as ERS continues to outperform the UK motor market, posting underwriting profits in six of the last seven underwriting years.
ARCH
Arch Insurance International (Arch) today announced the appointment of Ed Short as Head of Digital, effective immediately.
In this newly created role, Short is responsible for executing Arch’s digital underwriting strategy, ensuring a cohesive approach across the London Market, UK Regional, Australia, EU, and Bermuda platforms. Working closely with Arch’s underwriting teams, his focus is on advancing the company’s digital capabilities across products, placement and partnerships, providing brokers with seamless access to capacity and expertise, and fostering a digital environment that compliments Arch’s open-market underwriting.
Short takes on the digital leadership role having previously been Vice President, Digital Partners at Arch. He joined the company in 2023, and prior to that was UK Sales Director for AdvantageGo. Short has also held roles at Hiscox, Barbican and HCC Global.
MOSAIC

Mosaic Insurance has promoted Yosha DeLong to the new role of Global Engagement Officer and hired cyber and technology liability executive Brian Bonkoski to lead the company’s cyber business.
Based in Chicago, DeLong has built Mosaic’s cyber business since the company’s launch in February 2021, with a current team of 32 specialists spanning a worldwide footprint that includes the US, Canada, Bermuda, UK, Germany, and United Arab Emirates. She will now be responsible for driving Mosaic’s overall market engagement across business lines—including product distribution and growth, broker and client relationships, and sales and business development initiatives that harness Mosaic’s digital capabilities.
Bonkoski, based in Philadelphia, will take over the role of Global Head of Cyber at Mosaic, effective June 16. He brings 20 years of underwriting and distribution leadership experience, with previous executive roles at Chubb and AIG. Most recently, he was senior vice president, head of field operations at Chubb, where he oversaw US national production and broker distribution. He has also held leadership roles focused on the US East Coast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Bonkoski began his insurance career as an underwriter at AIG.
VERISK
Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK), a leading global data analytics and technology provider, has announced that Paul Latarche has been appointed as Chief Digital Officer of Verisk Specialty Business Solutions, a leading insurance and reinsurance software specialist in the global (re)insurance markets. In this role, Latarche will lead Verisk Specialty Business Solution’s digital strategy across the UK and international markets, shaping a forward-looking digital vision aligned with the company’s business goals, and identifying strategic partnerships and growth opportunities in new markets.
In addition, Latarche will support the ongoing global expansion of Whitespace, Verisk’s all-in-one digital platform that enables brokers, underwriters, and managing general agents (MGAs) to offer, negotiate, and place business across the global (re)insurance market. As the only truly digital platform of its kind, Whitespace supports a wide range of business classes and geographies—now including U.S.-based brokers, wholesalers, carriers, and risks. This expansion builds on the platform’s strong momentum in the London market, where nearly 170,000 lines have been written in 2024 alone—more than triple the volume recorded in 2022.
WESTFIELD SPECIALTY
The London Market Group has added Chris Rash, CEO of AIG UK, to its board. Rash joins as AIG UK’s representative of the International Underwriting Association (IUA).
Rash was appointed CEO of AIG UK in March 2025 after four years as CEO of Talbot Underwriting, AIG’s managing agent at Lloyd’s. He has also worked in senior roles at Starstone, MS Amlin, NHBC and RSA.
LOGPOINT
Logpoint, the European cybersecurity leader, has appointed Milad Aslaner as Chief Product Officer (CPO) to oversee the company’s product vision and execution in a pivotal moment in European digital defense.
With more than 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and product leadership, Aslaner will guide Logpoint’s product strategy, focusing on the evolving needs of critical national infrastructure customers and Managed Security Services Providers (MSSPs) across Europe, including simplified threat detection, regulatory compliance management, and strengthening data control.

Gallagher has appointed Steve Parker as Managing Director of its specialist UK property insurance provider, Vasek Insurance.
In his new role, Steve will head up Vasek which is part of Gallagher’s UK & Ireland Retail division and offers easier access to harder-to-place non-standard property insurance products to the wider broker market and UK customers. He will be responsible for overseeing product development, building relationships with new and existing insurer partners and maximising routes to market.
Steve has over 30 years of broking experience and has worked in the UK and Middle East and across both personal lines and commercial insurance during his career. He joins from Staysure Group where most recently he was Product Development Director having previously been Chief Insurance Officer.

– Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, announces that the firm has appointed Andy Marcell to serve as CEO of Global Solutions.
As CEO of Global Solutions, Marcell now leads Aon’s integrated Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities across the firm’s Reinsurance, Commercial Risk, Health, Wealth and Talent teams. Marcell will remain as CEO of Reinsurance until John Neal joins Aon on September 1, 2025, and continue to report to Aon President and CEO Greg Case and serve on the Aon Executive Committee.
