Ondo InsurTech Plc (LSE: ONDO), a provider of claims prevention technology for home insurers, has announced a new partnership with vipHomeLink Holdings, Inc. (“vipHomeLink”), the U.S. based InsurTech providing a digital home management and prevention platform.
Under the agreement, vipHomeLink will provide the LeakBot water damage prevention system to its network of small and mid-sized U.S. insurance carriers, enabling streamlined access and complete, turnkey deployment of LeakBot programs at lower minimum volumes. vipHomeLink will lead all customer engagement, onboarding, and enrollment marketing, supported by Ondo’s leading leak detection technology solution and in-home plumbing repair services. Ondo will maintain direct contractual relationships with all insurers through this partnership.
This partnership builds on LeakBot’s momentum in the U.S. (including with carriers such as Nationwide, Selective, Pure and others) and is a further step toward establishing a complete and coordinated prevention ecosystem – bringing together smart solutions such as Ting, by Whisker Labs, and LeakBot to help insurers protect their customers from the most common and costly home risks.
