Antares Syndicate 1274 at Lloyd’s has posted a UK GAAP profit of $42m for the first half of 2025. During the first half of the year, the syndicate achieved a net combined ratio (NCR) of 96.3% on gross written premiums of $369m.
Antares at Lloyd’s CEO, Mark Graham, said the syndicate had beaten its planned profit target.
“Despite experiencing two large events, Californian Wildfires and the deterioration of Russian Aviation War losses, the syndicate has demonstrated notable resilience in its financial performance,” he said. “This strength reflects the robustness of our underwriting and diversified portfolio.
“In addition, our investment return has held up well in the current uncertain environment.”
