The latest update from Talanx;
Effective 1st September, Stephanie Bode will assume an expanded responsibility in Reinsurance in the Talanx Group. In addition to her new role as Head of Reinsurance at HDI Global, she will take on the responsibility for the Corporate & Specialty Lines department within Talanx Group Reinsurance in a dual capacity. As part of this expanded responsibility, her current reporting line to Dr Stefan Pasternak CFO at HDI Global, will be complemented by an additional reporting line to Oliver Grabau, Head of Talanx Group Reinsurance.
By consolidating these functions under one leadership, Talanx and HDI Global further align reinsurance purchasing across the Group and underline the commitment to streamlined operations and cohesive strategy execution. This move also brings HDI Global closer to the reinsurance market.

Stephanie Bode takes over as Head of Reinsurance at HDI Global in the Finance Department of CFO Dr Stefan Pasternak from Rainer Fischer, who is taking well-deserved retirement after nine successful years in this role. Fischer will remain with the company in an advisory capacity. In Talanx Group Reinsurance, Bode takes over from Antje Pfitzner, who changes her responsibility within Talanx Group Reinsurance to Head of Group Reinsurance Retail & Group Protection & Counter Party Risk Management. Before taking on the dual responsibility for Reinsurance, Stephanie Bode has overseen market management for Continental Europe (excluding Germany), South Africa and Japan in David Hullin’s executive department at HDI Global.
