Keoghs, the legal solutions arm of Davies, has strengthened its legal services offering with four strategic lateral hires across Scotland and Northern Ireland. These key appointments enhance the firm’s regional presence and signify its ongoing commitment to providing expert legal support in both jurisdictions.
As part of Keoghs’ continued expansion in Scotland, two respected partners join from Clyde & Co:

Karen Dance (above) brings over 25 years’ experience in insurance litigation, specialising in defended reparation cases. She is highly regarded in the Scottish legal market, with expertise in employers’ liability, public liability and RTA claims, including complex and catastrophic claims. Her clients have included insurers, brokers, claims handlers and self-insured businesses. In her new role, Karen will be advising clients in connection with high-value and complex claims, arising from all types of accidents.

Rachel Henry has focused exclusively on large loss and catastrophic claims for the past 15 years. She brings specialist knowledge in complex cases involving spinal and brain injuries, amputations and chronic pain. Rachel will specialise in large loss and catastrophic claims across both motor and casualty.

Keoghs also welcomes two new partners, joining from Clyde & Co to its Belfast office:

Michelle McCullough (above) joins the Property, Risks and Coverage (PRC) team, with over 15 years’ experience advising insurers on high-value property damage claims and complex coverage issues. She will play a key role in expanding the PRC offering and strengthening legal services for clients in Northern Ireland.

John Guerin (above) joins with decades of experience in dealing with motor, employers’ liability and public liability claims for many of Ireland and the UK’s top insurance companies. His background also includes representing healthcare professionals in disciplinary proceedings before regulatory bodies and he will focus on historic abuse cases.
