The latest from Markerstudy;
Known for ‘putting the fun into insurance’, Markerstudy Group, recently held its ‘FUNdraiser week’ raising £6,470 for Cancer Research UK.
Thousands of colleagues from across the country threw themselves into the spirit of the week with quizzes and bake sales, pool tournaments and carnival games and everything in between being held. A group wide silent auction also took place with colleagues having the opportunity to bid on an array of incredible prizes which included a driving experience at Silverstone.
Colleagues also dug out their denim and donned their navy knits to turn the week blue for Cancer Research UK, with Markerstudy’s charitable arm, Motiv8, donating to the total in recognition
Lizzie Smith-Foreman, Chief Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer at Markerstudy, comments: “Our annual fundraising event is a highlight in our calendar and it’s fantastic to see colleagues from around the business coming together to raise as much as we could for Cancer Research UK. Giving back to charities and good causes is in Markerstudy’s DNA and has been one of our core values for nearly 25 years. This year our colleagues’ efforts to put the ‘fun’ into fundraising did not disappoint once again and I’m thrilled we were able to raise much needed funds for the charity.”
In January, a vote featuring more than 1,000 colleagues chose Cancer Research UK as Markerstudy’s Charity of Choice for 2025. The charity will benefit from all Markerstudy fundraising activities this year.
