The latest deal from Jensten Group;
Jensten Group has expanded its regional footprint with the acquisition of commercial broker Northern Counties which has offices in Gateshead and Glasgow. The transaction, which includes both NCinsurance and NCstirling, is subject to regulatory approval.
One of the largest independent brokers in the North-East of England and a founding member of Broker Network, Northern Counties brings a 20-strong team of experienced professionals to the Group. With a proud heritage spanning more than fifty years, the family-run brokerage has built a reputation for exceptional client service and deep-rooted regional expertise.
Northern Counties will become part of Jensten’s Regional Broking Division, reinforcing the Group’s position in key regional markets.
The acquisition is the first to be announced following confirmation of Jensten Group’s reinvestment partnership with Bain Capital.
As part of the deal, Philip Belgian will join Jensten as Regional Managing Director for the North-East, further strengthening the Group’s leadership in the region. Philip brings a wealth of industry experience, having been at the helm of the business for over 15 years.
