CNA Canada and mea Partner Up on AI Solution

The latest partnership news for you;

CNA Insurance Canada and mea Platform, recently announced their new strategic partnership and the success of a pilot program, where the Canadian insurer is leveraging mea’s AI solution to improve the speed and efficiency of its underwriting processes.

mea’s AI product has been successfully deployed to select lines of business, with runway to continue implementation across CNA Canada’s wider operations. This will enable the organization to increase data accuracy, facilitate the team in making more informed decisions, and promote a ‘data-first’ approach to market. mea’s tool supports CNA’s growth strategy by improving turn-around times for submission logging and eventually accelerating broker response times for quote requests.

“We’ve been very impressed by mea’s capabilities and its AI engine to accurately extract key business data from structured and unstructured sources” said Kumar Harsh, AVP Solutions and Architecture at CNA. “The tool was deployed quickly and with high data accuracy.”

mea’s Intelligent Underwriting AI ingestion engine effectively synthesizes unstructured data to streamline the underwriting process for new business submissions.

“CNA is committed to exploring innovative insurance tools and leveraging AI solutions to support our ambitious objectives,” said Luke Mellors, VP Information Technology at CNA. “In partnership with mea, we’re dedicated to leveraging advanced technologies to enhance insurance operations and to continue to deliver exceptional service for our brokers and clients.”

mea Platform is an AI-native operating system purpose-built for insurance. While CNA currently only utilizes the platform for submission data extraction, mea has significant capabilities. mea’s platform powers underwriting support, claims processing, endorsements, policy administration, and finance functions. mea delivers accuracy, scale, and speed out-of-the-box, enabling insurers, MGAs, and brokers to unlock resources toward true differentiation in underwriting and client service.

“mea was founded to give the insurance industry the ability to focus talent and energy on what truly creates differentiation instead of costly and complicated IT,” said Martin Henley, CEO of mea. “By delivering proven accuracy and efficiency from day one, we help our partners reduce operational friction and gain confidence that they are driving measurable impact for their customers while improving their enterprise at the same time.”
