Rokstone, the international specialty (re)insurance MGA, recently announced the launch of a dedicated Cyber division and the appointment of Debbie Hobbs. Here are the details;
A highly experienced and well respected figure in the Cyber market, Debbie brings two decades of legal, claims and underwriting leadership to Rokstone. As a qualified lawyer, she has served with several of the insurance industry’s leading law firms, including DWF and Clyde & Co. Debbie has built deep expertise in Cyber throughout her career: she was Head of Cyber Tech & Media at Miller and spent five years as the London Practice Cyber & Technology Lead for Ryan Specialty Group’s Emergin Risk, where she was responsible for global large and complex Cyber risks. She will join Rokstone in 2026 following completion of her notice period.
The creation of the Cyber division marks a significant milestone for Rokstone as it continues to expand its Specialty underwriting footprint. Global demand for Cyber protection is rising sharply amid escalating threat activity, tightening regulatory expectations and the digital dependency of every sector. Rokstone’s new unit will focus on providing comprehensive, configurable Cyber solutions that can address both traditional exposures and next-generation risks emerging from AI, supply-chain interconnectivity and operational technology.
