Corporate & Specialty insurer HDI Global announces Cyquins – “Your Cyber Quick Insurance Scan”, an innovative cyber insurance product designed to redefine how brokers and clients manage cyber risk, with a clear focus on the Midmarket segment. Cyquins complements HDI Global’s existing cyber insurance offerings, adding an innovative option for clients seeking a faster, digital-first approach.
To further enhance accessibility, HDI Global achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cyber Competency Partner status. From 1 January 2026 onwards, Cyquins will also be available on the AWS platform. In addition to launching the product, HDI Global will be listed as a Cyber Insurance Partner on AWS for EMEA customers. This means AWS clients can directly access Cyquins through the platform and initiate their individual cyber risk scan seamlessly.
Traditionally, obtaining cyber insurance involves detailed questionnaires and complex processes for clients and brokers. With Cyquins, HDI Global introduces an alternative for those who prefer a streamlined, digital-first experience. Cyquins is intended for businesses with a predominantly cloud-based IT infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and optimal results. Clients begin with a rapid, read-only cloud scan as risk assessment of their own environment – powered by Cloud Security Provider Prowler and compatible with all leading cloud providers – requiring no software installation and delivering results in around ten minutes. Findings are delivered in straightforward language, so clients know exactly what to do next, and brokers can move quickly.
Cyquins provides a clear risk score and prioritised recommendations, while clients retain full control over their data. They can decide whether to use the report independently or additionally proceed to request an insurance offer. To generate a quote, the report must be submitted, but until that point, all data remains within the client’s environment. The application process is streamlined, involving only a few targeted follow-up questions. Once submitted, clients can obtain an individual insurance offer within 48 hours during business days, with coverage up to EUR 10 million.
For brokers, Cyquins reduces administrative burden and accelerates client engagement; for clients, it offers actionable feedback, data autonomy, and a transparent, efficient route to cyber insurance.
